Big Shot class projects

I had a great day today stamping with some wonderful ladies.  The first project we made was this cute little Easter basket made with the Big Shot and the Fancy Favor box, but then we used the FREE border punch from the Sale-A-Bration catalog to change the edge of the basket and the handle.  Don't you just love that Very Vanilla Satin ribbon?  It adds such an elegant touch.  This was the second project.  I call it "Birthday Surprise" because it is filled with lots of little surprises.  It starts with textured cardstock (surprise #1).  Notice that sweet little butterfly on the front.  Big Shot sizzlet.  Love that little corduroy button!  Have you noticed a "texture" theme here?  The envelope on the front of the card has a surprise inside (surprise #2) and there are more little butterflies flitting about (surprise #3).  Do you see that chocolate chip strip at the bottom?  Well surprise!  It's on the inside of the card and those cute little raised polka dots are made using the Perfect Polka dot embossing folder.  You may remember from previous posts that I just LOVE that embossing folder.    And our third project of the day was something completely different (Monty Python?)  We made these sweet little flowers using the scallop circles, some funky little nylon/polyester blend fabrics and more corduroy buttons.  We added some heat with a heat tool and lots of patience to get them just right.  Pin backs were attached so that we could attach them to other things.  What a fun project this was!
